Using the site

You can browse without an account. You agree not to:

• scrape or crawl the site in a way that slows it down for others;
• try to access the admin area or any system you aren't authorized to use;
• manipulate upvotes, for example with scripts or rotating IP addresses;
• submit information you know is false or misleading.

Tool submissions

When you submit a tool, you confirm that you have the right to share the details you send. You give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to edit, publish, and display that information on the site.

Every submission is reviewed by a person before it goes live. We may accept, edit, decline, or remove any listing at our discretion. A free listing requires a followed link back to BookkeepDIY and stays free only while that link is in place.

Paid and featured listings

A paid listing is a one-time charge. A featured listing is billed monthly until you cancel. Prices are shown on the submit page before you pay, and Stripe processes the payment.

Payment buys the listing option you chose. It does not buy a rank, a score, a review, or changes to our editorial copy. To cancel a featured listing, email [email protected] from the address you used at checkout. It stays featured until the end of the period you already paid for.

Rankings and affiliate links

Scores and rankings on /best pages are the editorial opinion of the BookkeepDIY Editorial Team. Some outbound links are affiliate links and may earn us a commission at no cost to you. Commissions never affect a rank. Our scoring rules are on How we rank.

Our content

The rankings, reviews, dictionary entries, and knowledge articles on the site belong to BookkeepDIY. You're welcome to link to any page and quote short passages with a link back. Don't republish whole pages or present our content as your own.

Product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their owners. A listing does not mean the vendor endorses us, and we aren't affiliated with any vendor unless a page says so.

Third-party sites

The site links to vendor websites and other services we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, pricing, billing, or support. Your dealings with them are between you and them.

No professional advice

Our content is general information to help you compare tools and learn bookkeeping. It is not tax, legal, or accounting advice. See the Disclaimer.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it accurate and online, but we don't guarantee that every price, feature, or fact is current, or that the site will always be available or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, BookkeepDIY is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site or any tool listed on it. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid us nothing.

Changes

We may update the site or these terms at any time. When we change the terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
