About Content Snare
Content Snare is the checklist you send a client. You add questions, file uploads, and choices, set a due date, and share a link. The client opens it from email, with no account to create. Answers autosave. Reminders go out on the schedule you set. You approve what is right and reject a single wrong item, with a comment, then download the package or export it to Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or SharePoint.
TaxDome and Canopy are the firm system: jobs, portal, and billing in one seat. Content Snare does not replace them, and the accounting page says so. Double (formerly Keeper) is where a bookkeeping firm closes the QuickBooks Online or Xero file. Dext and Hubdoc pull receipts into that file. Content Snare does not post to a ledger. It collects the tax documents, onboarding answers, and month-end questions you listed.
Firms keep it because the client can stop halfway and come back, and the next nudge is automatic. One bad upload does not restart the whole request. Templates mean the next engagement starts from the same checklist instead of a new email thread.
Pricing
A two-person firm on Basic pays $35 a month billed annually, or $42 month to month, for 20 active requests. Active means the client can still open it. Mark it complete or archived and the slot frees up. Plus is $71 annually ($85 monthly) for 50 active requests and 5 users. Pro is $119 annually ($143 monthly). Onboarding Starter is included. The onboarding page lists Guided at $250 one-time and also marks it included on Plus and above. Supported is $750 and Concierge is $1,500, both one-time. Prices on the pricing page are USD.

Month-end still happens in the ledger. Content Snare is how you ask for the statements and answers. The product pages do not show those files posting into QuickBooks Online or Xero.
You can download the finished answers and files, or drop them in Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. That package is not a trial balance, a 1099 file, or a return.

- Build a request with questions, choices, and file uploads, then share a link. Clients do not create an account. Answers autosave if they close the browser. Every plan includes unlimited clients, reminders, questions, and templates.
- Remind only the items still open
- Set a due date and a reminder schedule. Content Snare emails the people who have not finished. SMS is capped by plan: 40 a month on Basic, 100 on Plus, 200 on Pro, and 400 or more on Custom.
- Approve or reject one field
- When a file or answer comes in, you accept it or reject that item and leave a comment. The rest of the request stays put. Approved items lock so the client cannot change them later.
- Reuse the same request as a template
- Save a section or a whole request and send it again for onboarding, month-end questions, or year-end tax documents. Plus includes one free migration of an existing form, up to 40 questions. Pro includes two.
- Export the finished package
- Download answers and files together, or send a completed request to Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or SharePoint. Zapier and Make are on the integrations page. Xero Practice Manager and FYI are labeled premium integrations, which the pricing page puts on Plus and above.
- Sign inside the same request
- The document signing page lets a client sign an engagement letter or the request PDF in the same flow as the uploads. Signing runs through a FuseSign or Annature account you already have. Content Snare marks the item done when they sign.
