GroFlex logo

GroFlex

India-first invoicing that can be the ledger on Accounting. Razorpay collects in India. No QuickBooks. Bank connect still coming soon.

Best for

India freelancers and MSMEs who want free GST invoices and may later buy the Accounting module, and who do not need a US CPA file.

Not ideal if

Any US shop that needs QuickBooks Online or Xero, a Plaid bank feed, 1099s, ACH, or a ledger a US CPA will open.

Standout

Published module prices (not per seat, 10 free users) and a forever-free invoice tier, on an India Razorpay / GST stack.

About GroFlex

GroFlex (sold as grofleX) is invoicing first, then a ledger if you buy the Accounting module. You sign up at app.groflexerp.com, send quotes and invoices, and keep GrofleX branding on Free. The Free card lists the first 500 invoices. On Accounting you add a chart of accounts, expenses, purchases, credit and debit notes, and cash or bank accounts you type in. Profit and loss, the balance sheet, and a cash flow statement come out of that module. Official accounting copy still marks a live bank connection as coming soon. Customer payment on the invoice is Razorpay in India. Other countries are listed as coming soon.

It does not sit on QuickBooks Online or Xero. Wave and Kick are US replacement ledgers with live bank feeds. Zoho Books is the GST-capable ledger in this directory that India and US shops actually close in. FreshBooks is invoicing plus a fuller US file. GroFlex's job is quotes-to-invoice in one login, with Inventory and POS sold as separate yearly modules. Homepage integrations are still Coming Soon. The live stub lists Stripe; official sales copy names Razorpay, and Stripe appears as how GroFlex itself takes payment.

People who stick are usually India MSMEs and freelancers who wanted free GST invoices and later added Accounting. They stay for module pricing (pay for the module, not per seat, up to 10 users) and a free tax-consultant login. A US shop that needs Plaid, 1099s, or a file a CPA will open should treat this as the wrong country and the wrong handoff.

What people who used it say

What they tend to like

  • Free GST invoicing to start

Official sales and pricing copy sell unlimited-feeling quotes and invoices, with a 500-invoice cap on the Free feature list and GST-compliant conversion from a quote.

  • Pay per module, not per seat

Pricing FAQ: modules, not users, with 10 free users and promised (unpublished) bundle discounts.

What they hesitate about

  • No public US owner threads

Reddit, HN, and Indie Hackers searches for groflexerp / grofleX / GroFlex ERP returned no useful bookkeeping threads this pass. Do not treat the homepage testimonials as owner evidence; several match a stock Sierra CRM theme, including an image hosted on sierra.keydesign.xyz.

  • Bank feed and world payments are still coming soon

Official accounting: connect bank accounts coming soon. Official sales: Razorpay for India, other countries coming soon. Homepage integrations: Coming Soon.

On Accounting you review expenses, purchases, and cash or bank accounts you maintain yourself. Official copy: live bank connect is coming soon, so there is no Plaid-style feed to rec against. Inventory and POS, if purchased, should post into those books. Nothing writes to QuickBooks or Xero.

Invite a tax consultant into the workspace, or export the Accounting reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow; Inventory adds Excel or PDF). There is no QuickBooks Online or Xero file. 1099 e-file is not documented. A US CPA who only opens QBO should not be expected to take this.

Features

Send quotes and tax invoices

Create quotes, convert them to invoices, set payment terms, and send a PDF or link. Official sales page: one-click GST-compliant invoices and INR-to-foreign-currency conversion (USD, EUR, SGD, MYR, AED, CAD, GBP). Free lists the first 500 invoices and keeps GrofleX branding. Paid Accounting removes the branding.

Collect on the invoice in India

Official sales page: Razorpay is the named payment gateway, plus an auto-generated QR code. That page says Razorpay is for India and marks other countries as coming soon. Online payments can mark the invoice paid. Recurring invoices and four-level payment reminders are on the sales page.

Accounting module: books you type in

Accounting (£49/mo billed yearly, 30-day trial) adds a chart of accounts and sub-accounts, expenses, purchases, credit and debit notes, customer/general ledger, and cash or bank accounts. Reports listed: profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow. Official accounting page: live bank connection is coming soon, so you still enter or import the bank lines.

Inventory and purchase orders

Inventory (£49/mo billed yearly) adds article groups, reorder thresholds, barcodes, purchase orders, vendor credits, vendor payments, and Excel or PDF reports. Homepage inventory copy also lists batch and serial tracking. This is a separate module, not included with Free or Accounting.

POS that posts into Accounting

POS (£49/mo billed yearly) lists card, cash, store credit, returns, tax configuration, and external receipt printers, scanners, cash drawers, and payment terminals. Official POS page: sales should post into accounting and inventory. The plan card names a mobile POS Android app. No GroFlex-branded Play Store or App Store listing was found this pass (footer is a Play search URL).

Seats and a tax-consultant login

General-features page: 3 seats on signup, plus 7 more on any paid module (pricing FAQ: 10 free users, then unpublished add-ons). You can invite a tax consultant into the file. Roles and permissions are listed. HRM and payroll are marked Soon on the homepage.

Pricing

Invoicing can stay $0 through the first 500 invoices. A shop that wants books pays £49/month billed yearly for Accounting (£588/year). Inventory or POS is another £49/month billed yearly each. CRM is £99/month billed yearly. Bundle discounts are promised and unpublished. Extra seats after 10 are unpublished add-ons. Razorpay and any card-reader fees sit on top and are not on the GroFlex pricing page. USD, INR, EUR, and other currency amounts exist as switcher flags; this pass only confirmed the GBP numbers. A typical 5-person US service shop should not be on this price card at all.
