Rillet

A quote-only ERP ledger for SaaS finance teams. Connect Stripe, CRM, and cards; review ASC 606 and close in Rillet.

Best for

SaaS and software finance teams that have outgrown QuickBooks Online or Xero and want the ERP to be the ledger, with ASC 606 and a CPA-led go-live.

Not ideal if

A 1-50 person US shop where the owner still codes the bank feed. Rillet is quote-only ERP with a 4-6 week implementation, not a Saturday signup.

Standout

ASC 606 schedules and close work run inside the same general ledger the feeds post to, with Aura drafting and a human approving.

About Rillet

Rillet is the ledger. You connect Salesforce or HubSpot, Stripe, Ramp or Brex, BILL, and payroll (Gusto, Rippling, or ADP). Contracts, payments, cards, and bills land in Rillet's general ledger. You review and approve what Aura drafts. Revenue schedules, bank recs, and the close checklist live here. Help Center copy: it replaces your legacy ERP. It does not sit next to QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite.

That is a different job from Kick, Puzzle, or Digits, which are published-price replacement ledgers a US shop can start without a project. QuickBooks Online stays the DIY file. NetSuite is the broader ops ERP (inventory, orders, manufacturing). Rillet's job is SaaS and software finance: ASC 606 from the contract, multi-entity consolidation, and a continuous close in one general ledger.

People who stick have a controller or a lean finance team, subscription or usage revenue that broke a spreadsheet, and a quote they already compared to NetSuite. They stay because close work happens in the ledger (recs, flux, approvals) instead of a two-week rebuild. Accountants on public forums say the quote and implementation can beat NetSuite. They also say to stress-test intercompany, eliminations, and reporting depth if you have a parent plus several entities.

What people who used it say

What they tend to like

  • A cheaper, faster path than NetSuite

On r/Accounting, one shop said they could not stomach NetSuite implementation fees, took a better Rillet deal, and had implementation waived.

  • The UI is faster than NetSuite

The same thread: a NetSuite user said Rillet is not as slow, versus about 15 seconds per click in NetSuite.

  • Close work stays in the ledger

Official close and GL pages put recs, prepaid schedules, flux, and approvals on the live books. Case-study finance leads cite fewer close days after leaving QuickBooks.

What they hesitate about

  • Hard to find independent reviews before you buy

The r/Accounting OP was switching off QuickBooks, had a firm pushing Rillet, and said they could not obtain user reviews yet.

  • Stress-test multi-entity before you commit

Forum advice for a parent plus five entities: NetSuite is proven at that scale; Rillet is newer, so test intercompany, eliminations, permissions, and reporting depth.

  • Finance ERP, not a full ops suite

A NetSuite user on that thread said localized versions for a multinational may not be there. Oracle's comparison page says no multibook. Rillet's own NetSuite-alternative FAQ says it is not a fit for complex inventory or manufacturing.

Close in Rillet. Feeds post through the month; you work the checklist, recs, accruals, and flux, then lock. Official pitch is a continuous close, not a two-week rebuild. You still review what Aura proposes.

Invite the accountant or a Rillet Certified Partner into the workspace. Reports, audit trail, and supporting schedules come out of Rillet. Many US CPAs will not treat this like a QuickBooks Online file. Rillet does not file the return.

Features

Connect the stack, post to the GL

Connect CRM, Stripe, cards, AP, banks, and payroll. Data is ingested, served for approval where needed, then posted to Rillet's general ledger. File upload and a public API cover objects that are not on a native connector.

ASC 606 from the contract

Closed-won deals sync from Salesforce or HubSpot as customers, contracts, and products. Rillet drafts the revenue pattern and deferred-revenue schedule. You review and approve before it posts. Official pages name flat-rate, usage, milestone, and marketplace models.

Bank rec as the feed lands

Bank and card lines sync (Chase, Mercury, SVB, J.P. Morgan Access, and others on the catalog). Rillet matches them and flags exceptions. You finalize the rec in the same ledger as the invoices and bills.

Close checklist, flux, and approvals

Customize the month-end checklist: tasks, owners, deadlines, documents. Aura proposes accruals and recs; approval workflows keep junior or system posts from hitting the GL until someone signs off. Flux drafts sit in the same close workspace.

Multi-entity and consolidation

Keep subsidiaries in one workspace. Official multi-entity page: intercompany eliminations, FX revaluations, and a switch between entity and consolidated reports. A parent plus several entities still needs a demo that stress-tests those workflows.

Aura on the live ledger

Ask the GL in plain English, or run agents on a schedule. Official Aura page: every action is reviewable, with an audit trail, and you approve or edit before it sticks. MCP can connect Claude or a BI tool to the same books.

Pricing

Contact sales. Official Help Center (fetched 12 Sep 2026): not per seat, not based on revenue; quote is features used plus complexity. No public dollar list on rillet.com/plans or the Help Center. Implementation is a separate white-glove project (typically 4-6 weeks) billed on top of the subscription. Mercury's public perk page advertises $3k off plus a waived implementation fee; treat that as a bank perk, not list price. A 5-person, ~500-transaction shop that only needs a checking register should not be on this quote. Do not publish third-party annual-contract estimates.
