Our take
- Best for
- An operations-heavy company whose AP rules change by supplier, entity, and email, and that already runs NetSuite, Dynamics, or Xero.
- Not ideal if
- A small US shop that wants to turn on bill pay, connect a bank, and pay by ACH without a configuration project.
- Standout
- It codes from the invoice plus the email thread and your supplier rules, then posts the bill, instead of asking the team to retype inside a new AP app.
About Numra
Numra is workflow software, and accounts payable is one of the workflows it will run on top of systems you already have. Invoices arrive by a shared inbox, a supplier portal, or an upload. It reads the PDF and the email thread it came with, then fills supplier, invoice number, dates, currency, net, tax, gross, lines, PO references, terms, and bank details. Coding uses your rules: GL account, department, cost centre, project, class, tracking category, entity, and tax code. If you have them, it matches purchase orders, goods receipts, contracts, and prior invoices. Approvers reply in Microsoft Teams, Slack, email, or Numra. The bill, the file, and the history are written to the connected finance system.
Vic.ai and Stampli are packaged AP desks you turn on and configure inside their product. Bill.com, Melio, and Routable are built to pay the supplier. Numra prepares the coded, approved transaction for NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics. Xero is also on the list of systems it can write to. It does not send the payment. The same company sells a collections workflow and a shared-inbox agent. Those are separate jobs from bill pay.
Teams keep it when supplier rules, entities, and email instructions differ so much that a standard bill-pay app keeps forcing workarounds. The thing you are buying is the rule set and the audit trail, not a new ledger. Clean bills move, and the AP team spends its time on the exceptions.
Pricing
There is no pricing page and no printed fee on the homepage or the AP page. A small shop cannot estimate the bill from the site. Ask what the configuration costs, whether there is a per-invoice charge, and what happens when you add a second entity or a second workflow such as collections. EU hosting and a GDPR data-processing agreement are documented. They are not a price.
Accounts payable workflow
No public price and no self-serve plan. You describe the current AP process, systems, and rules. Numra also sells collections and an inbox agent on the same platform, priced the same way: by conversation.
- Invoice intake from email, portal, or upload
- Header and line-item extraction
- Coding rules and PO or receipt matching
- Approvals in Teams, Slack, or email
- Posting to the connected ERP
- EU hosting, GDPR DPA, no model training on your data

Approved bills land in the ERP or accounting platform with the document attached. The close, the payment run, and the reconciliation still happen in that system.
A CPA gets the ERP transaction plus Numra's coding and approval history. There is no documented 1099 file and no documented QuickBooks Online sync.
Features
- Take the invoice from the inbox it already uses
- Intake is a shared mailbox, a supplier portal, an upload, or a connected system. Numra reads the attachment and the email around it, including coding notes a colleague forwarded. Several invoices in one submission are listed as in scope. Duplicates and missing fields are held.
- Apply your coding rules, including the odd supplier
- The AP page lists GL account, tax code, department, cost centre, project, job, class, tracking category, and entity. Rules can be general or supplier-specific, and they can follow a PO, an agreement, or an instruction in the email. Uncertain coding stays in review.
- Match the PO, the receipt, and the contract
- Two-way and three-way matching, PO line matching, goods-receipt checks, and contract matching are listed. Partial invoices, cumulative billing, and price or quantity tolerances are listed. A missing or closed PO becomes an exception instead of a posted bill.
- Approve in Teams, Slack, or email
- Routes can follow amount, department, entity, or project, in one or several steps, with reminders and segregation of duties. The approver does not have to live in a separate AP screen. New supplier bank details can be held.
- Write the finished bill into the finance system
- After checks and approvals, Numra creates or prepares the transaction in the connected ERP, with the original document and the decision history. NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics are named on the AP page. The homepage also shows Xero among systems it writes to. Paying the vendor is not described as a Numra rail.
