Our take
- Best for
- A firm or finance lead who already closes in Xero or QuickBooks and needs a shared report pack, a group consolidation, or a cash forecast.
- Not ideal if
- A shop that only needs the profit and loss already inside QuickBooks Online or Xero, or a team that wants the planning model to be the system of record.
- Standout
- Consolidations are listed as free, with currency management and driver-based forecasts gated to Plus, and ERP sources gated to Advanced.
About Syft Analytics
Syft Analytics sits on the accounting file you already keep. You connect Xero, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Sage, MYOB, FreshBooks, or FreeAgent, and you can add Excel, Google Sheets, Square, Stripe, Shopify, Gusto, or a bank feed. Syft pulls those results into dashboards, financial reports, consolidations, budgets, and forecasts. You still code transactions, reconcile, and lock the period in the ledger. A trial-balance or transaction-list upload can create an entity when there is no live connector.
Fathom and Spotlight Reporting do the same job of a management pack and a forecast after the books are clean. Jirav is the planning model where department heads edit a three-statement budget and a staffing plan. Numeric and FloQast run the close checklist. QuickBooks Online and Xero already print a profit and loss. Syft is the layer for a live pack, a group view, and a forecast you do not want to rebuild in a spreadsheet each month. Its data review covers accounts, transactions, contacts, bank activity, and VAT or GST on the connected file.
Firms and in-house finance teams stay when the pack, the consolidation, or the cash forecast is what the lender, the board, or the client actually opens. Paid plans list unlimited team users and unlimited external users, so a firm can share a live view without buying a seat per person. They stay when the source file is already reconciled. A polished dashboard on an unreconciled file does not fix the month.
Pricing
On 12 Oct 2026 the USD pricing page showed Basic free, Standard $23 per month, Plus $47 per month, and Advanced $95 per month, with a 14-day trial and no card. Paid plans list unlimited users. The page does not say whether that sticker is per entity or per company. More than 10 entities is contact-only. The FAQ says consolidation groups themselves are free. What a 5-person shop pays depends on that unpublished billing unit.
Basic
The pricing page lists Basic as free forever. The comparison grid below it starts at Standard, so the only Basic inclusions written on the page are the three bullets here.
- Free plan forever
- Unlimited users
- Dashboards and graphs
- Access to Syft Campus
Standard
The published USD sticker for reports, dashboards, consolidations, and forecasting. The page does not say whether this amount is per entity or per company.
- 14-day trial, no credit card
- Unlimited team users and external users
- Reports, dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards
- Budgets, P&L forecast, and cash flow forecast
- Consolidations and eliminations
- Currency management and driver models are Plus and up
- ERP data sources are Advanced only
Plus
The page describes Plus as deeper insights, more report customization, and multi-currency support.

- Currency management and multi-currency support
- Driver-based modelling and integrated financials
- IFRS and GAAP financial statements

Advanced
The page describes Advanced as merged financial and operational insights, advanced consolidations, and tailored onboarding.
- ERP data sources

- High-scale infrastructure
- Dynamic ledger tables and conditional formatting
- Syft Assist labeled Deeper insights
- Onboarding assistance called out on the plan card

You still reconcile and lock the month in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or the other ledger. Syft can review accounts, transactions, bank activity, and VAT or GST on the connected file, then publish the pack.
You can export reports to PDF, Excel, or Word on the paid plans, and share a live view with unlimited external users. Syft does not file the return. The year-end file is still the ledger. 1099 support was not documented.
Features
- Connect a ledger, then build the pack
- Connect Xero, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Sage, MYOB, FreshBooks, or FreeAgent. Excel and Google Sheets are spreadsheet sources. You still categorize and close in the ledger. Syft is where you build financial reports, live views, and commentary on those results.
- Consolidate entities without a group fee
- The pricing FAQ says consolidations and multi-entity groups are free, with no limit on how many entities you group. Eliminations are on Standard, Plus, and Advanced. Currency management, consolidated budgets, acquisitions and disposals, and consolidation journals start on Plus. Nested consolidations, division segments, and high-scale infrastructure are Advanced only.
- Budget and forecast from actuals
- Cash-flow forecasting, budgets, profit and loss forecasting, a 10-year planning window, and import from Excel or Google Sheets are on Standard, Plus, and Advanced. Driver-based modelling and integrated financials start on Plus. Actuals versus forecast and budget is on every paid plan in the comparison grid.
- Review the file before you publish
- Data review on the paid grid covers Clarify, eliminations, bank review, data quality, accounts, transactions, contacts, and VAT or GST review, on Standard, Plus, and Advanced. This is a check on the connected file. It does not replace the bank reconciliation inside QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Share Excel, Sheets, and Syft Assist
- Spreadsheet Link for Excel and Google Sheets is on Standard, Plus, and Advanced. Exports listed on those plans are PDF, Excel, Word, and Syft Assist. The grid shows Syft Assist AI on Standard, with Plus labeled Unlimited insights and Advanced labeled Deeper insights. IFRS and GAAP financial statements, and a style library, start on Plus.
- Gate ERP and premium connectors
- The pricing grid puts ERP data sources on Advanced only. Accounting, spreadsheet, ecommerce, payroll, and bank-feed sources are marked on Standard and up. On the integrations page, Sage Intacct and Stripe Connect carry a Premium label. A dedicated customer success manager and phone or video support start on Plus. Live chat is on all three paid plans.

Pick something else instead of Syft Analytics
Fathom
Pick Fathom instead if you want a management pack and a three-way cash forecast on QuickBooks Online or Xero, with the company price spelled out per company.
Jirav
Pick Jirav instead if department heads need to edit a three-statement budget and a staffing plan, not only read a Syft report.
Spotlight Reporting
Pick Spotlight Reporting instead if you want the other ledger overlay for a client pack, a dashboard, and a forecast, and you are fine re-importing months yourself.
