Centime
Capture bills and collect invoices next to QuickBooks or your ERP, then pay, apply cash, and see a 13-week forecast.
Best for
Mid-market finance teams on QuickBooks (Online or Desktop), NetSuite, or Sage Intacct who want AP and AR on one platform plus a 13-week cash forecast, without a per-seat tax.
Not ideal if
A 1–50 person US shop with a short domestic vendor list. Melio or BILL will be cheaper and faster to stand up, and you will still close in QuickBooks either way.
Standout
AP and AR write back both ways to QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, and a 13-week cash forecast is included with either module.
About Centime
Centime is the AP, AR, and cash-forecast layer, not the ledger. You connect QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Dynamics 365 Business Central. Invoices land by email or upload. Centime captures the lines, suggests GL coding against your chart of accounts, routes approvals, and matches the purchase order (two-way on QuickBooks; three-way when the ERP records a receipt). You pay by ACH, check, virtual card, or international wire. On the AR side it sends the invoice, reminds the customer, takes ACH, card, or check in a no-login portal, and applies the cash. Bills, payments, customers, and invoices sync both ways. You still close in that file.
It does not replace QuickBooks Online or Xero. BILL is the published-price US AP and AR seat product with 1099 e-file in the same app. Melio is cheaper US bill pay. Ramp is card-first spend. Float is a 13-week forecast on QuickBooks Online or Xero and writes nothing back. Kick replaces the ledger. Centime's job is capture, approve, pay, collect, and forecast next to the file you already have. Expense management is Fyle (now Sage Expense Management) bundled in, not a native Centime inbox.
People who stick are controllers on QuickBooks (including Desktop) or a mid-market ERP who want AP and AR on one login plus a live 13-week cash view. Seats are not the price driver. A 13-week forecast is included with AP or AR. Banking and a 2.25% APY checking account (through FNBO) are extra if you qualify.
What people who used it say
What they tend to like
QuickBooks Online and Desktop both get a live two-way sync
Official AP and AR pages document suppliers, bills, POs, payments, customers, invoices, credit memos, and deposits both ways, including Desktop shops that BILL-class tools often leave on a file export.
Forecast is not a second subscription
Pricing page includes the 13-week Cash Flow Forecasting workbench with every AP or AR subscription, so the cash view sits on the same invoices you are paying and collecting.
Vendor-published stories lean on support and time saved
Official site and pricing page repeat the same customer names (Synergy HomeCare, Erdman, JobGet, R3, FC Cincinnati) for hours saved and a named CSM. Independent owner forums did not turn up a first-person corpus this pass, so treat those as vendor stories, not Reddit.
What they hesitate about
You cannot price it without a sales call
The pricing page publishes the meter (invoice volume, not seats) and no dollar floors. A five-person shop cannot compare this to Melio or BILL from the site alone.
QuickBooks PO match stops at two-way
Official QBO AP FAQ: neither QuickBooks Online nor Desktop records a goods receipt, so three-way match is not available. Three-way is for NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Dynamics.
Some Centime-only edits never reach the ledger
Knowledge base: supplier payment-profile updates are not pushed back to the accounting system. Customer contacts created in Centime also stay in Centime.

You capture, approve, pay, collect, and apply cash in Centime. Bills, payments, invoices, and deposits sync to QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, or the ERP. Close is still reconcile and exception cleanup in that ledger. Official QBO/QBD pages say Undeposited Funds is handled on purpose. Knowledge base: supplier payment-profile edits and customer contacts created only in Centime do not write back.
The CPA still opens QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Dynamics. Centime holds the AP/AR audit trail, portals, and forecast. Official pages do not document 1099 e-file or W-9 collection. Do not assume year-end tax forms live here.

Features
Capture, code, and match vendor bills
Forward or upload invoices. OCR reads header and line items. AI suggests GL coding against your chart of accounts, including class and department on QuickBooks. A person reviews before anything posts. QuickBooks Online and Desktop: two-way PO match at the line (unit price and quantity). Three-way match (PO, receipt, invoice) is documented for NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Dynamics 365 Business Central. Official QBO page: QuickBooks does not record a goods receipt, so three-way match is not available on either edition.
Pay vendors from one run
Pay US suppliers by check, ACH, or virtual card, and global suppliers by international wire. A supplier portal collects check, ACH, and card payment details (follow-ups at 5 and 10 days). Knowledge base: payment-profile updates stay in Centime and are not pushed back to the accounting system. Optional AP disbursement account earns the published 2.25% APY while it funds payments (FNBO; Centime is not a bank). Per-method and FX fees are not on the pricing page.
Collect invoices and apply the cash
Centime sends the invoice from the ledger, runs reminders and escalations on your cadence, and lets the customer pay by ACH, card, or check in a branded portal with no login. Cash application matches incoming payments to open invoices; exceptions go to a person. Official QBO/QBD AR page: customers, invoices, credit memos, deposits, and payments sync both ways, and Undeposited Funds is handled so bank rec stays clean. Customer contacts you add only in Centime do not write back to the ledger.
13-week cash forecast with AP or AR
Pricing page: Cash Flow Forecasting is included with every AP or AR subscription. Official product page: rolling 13-week view from AP, AR, and bank data, daily/weekly/monthly consolidation, and a Cash Plan that shows the cash impact before you commit a payment run. KPIs listed: gross burn, net burn, cash runway. Forecast page: Dynamics 365 BC connection is listed as coming soon; QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Sage Intacct are listed as live.
Two-way sync with QuickBooks Online and Desktop
Official AP page: suppliers, bills, purchase orders, and payments sync both ways on QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop. Official AR page: customers, invoices, credit memos, deposits, and payments do the same. Coding can carry class and department. Pricing FAQ also names NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Dynamics 365 Business Central, and says 'all versions of QuickBooks.' Xero is not on those lists.
Expense management bundled via Fyle
Official expense page (still live 12 Sep 2026): powered by Fyle. Card transactions auto-post, receipts match, and policies run on cards you already have or a Centime Card (published 1.6% cash back). Pricing FAQ: included with AP or AR, or at no extra software cost for qualified Centime Card users with an unpublished minimum spend; otherwise quoted per user. This is the Sage Expense Management (formerly Fyle) layer, not a second native Centime inbox. No Centime-branded App Store or Play listing found this pass.
Pricing
There is no published dollar price. Official FAQ (12 Sep 2026): AP is priced by invoices captured (and/or payments); AR by invoices collected; seats are not the meter. Expense is included with AP or AR, or quoted per user, or included for qualified Centime Card users with an unpublished minimum spend. Banking is free if you qualify. Discounts are listed for bundling AP+AR, multi-year, and qualified nonprofits. A five-person / ~500-transaction US shop that only needs ACH bill pay will almost always spend less on Melio or BILL. There is no free plan and no self-serve checkout. A product tour sandbox exists; a trial of your live file does not. Per-payment, card-interchange, and FX fees are unpublished. AR card payments go through an Adyen merchant account (knowledge base).

Pick something else instead of Centime
BILL
Pick BILL instead if you are a US QuickBooks Online or Xero shop that wants published per-user AP/AR pricing and 1099 e-file in the same product.
Melio
Pick Melio instead if you want cheaper US bill pay: a free Go plan with a small ACH allowance, or Core when you need unlimited QuickBooks Online or Xero sync, and you do not need AR collections or a 13-week workbench.
Float
Pick Float instead if the only job is a 13-week cash forecast on QuickBooks Online or Xero. Float is read-only, has published prices, and does not take over AP or AR.
