About Lido
Lido is a document extractor, not the ledger. You open sheets.lido.app, upload a PDF, scan, photo, or Word file, and name the columns you want (vendor, invoice number, date, amount, line items). Lido writes rows into a Lido spreadsheet. You can also watch a Google Drive or OneDrive folder, or a mailbox, and run the same extractor when a file lands. You export Excel or CSV. Bank statements can download as a QuickBooks .qbo file or a Xero-ready CSV, which you import yourself. You still rec the bank feed and lock the period in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
It does not replace QuickBooks Online or Xero, and Lido's own Dext comparison says there is no one-click publish into those files. Kick is the opposite: Kick is the ledger. Dext and Hubdoc post into the live file. Receiptor pushes inbox receipts as Bills or Expenses. ReceiptsAI also stops at CSV or Excel, with redaction first. ExpenseBot keeps a cheaper staging sheet in Google Sheets. Lido's job is mixed-layout documents (invoices, statements, K-1s, POs) into a sheet, without a template per vendor.
People who stick already live in Excel or Google Sheets and get PDFs that do not share one layout. They stay because the first extract does not need template setup, they can re-run a miss within 24 hours without burning another page credit, and 50 free pages let them test on real files. Accounting firms use it for client statements and tax packets they still finish in their own software. Source PDFs are deleted within 24 hours; the rows stay in the sheet.

Send the spreadsheet or the import file. Source PDFs are deleted within 24 hours of processing; extracted rows stay in the Lido sheet. Lido does not e-file the return or 1099s. It can extract 1099s, W-2s, and K-1s as data.

Watch Drive, OneDrive, or a mailbox
Workflows trigger when a file lands in Google Drive or OneDrive, or when mail hits a Lido mailbox or Outlook. The extractor writes rows to a sheet. Official help also names Send Gmail, Send Outlook, and Send Slack as downstream steps. Marketing Standard card lists email auto-forwarding.
Bank statement to Excel, CSV, or a QBO file
The bank-statement converter page lists Excel, CSV, QuickBooks .qbo (Online or Desktop import), Xero-ready CSV, QIF, Tally XML, and JSON. You upload the statement, review the rows, and import the file. This is not a live bank feed and not a native QuickBooks or Xero connector.
Match extracted rows against your own lists
Homepage and the accounting page: match extracted data against internal systems or a chart of accounts and flag exceptions before you export. That validation stays in Lido. Nothing posts to the ledger until you import the file.
Workflows, then API on higher volume
Help: a free workflow tier includes 3,000 runs/year. Public Scale card adds API and workflow access (up to 10 users). API is POST /extract-file-data at sheets.lido.app; job results expire in 24 hours. Rate limit in help: 5 requests / 30 seconds.
Page-range billing and a 24-hour free re-run
One processed page is one credit. Set a page range so unused pages are not billed. Help: re-extract the same file within 24 hours at no extra page cost. Email body plus each attachment page each count. No per-page overages; you upgrade or buy a second account.

The public card is $29/month for 100 pages and one user, then a jump to Scale at $7,000/year (42,000 pages). Help updated 24 Aug 2026 lists a different self-serve ladder: Starter $36/month (100 pages) or $348/year, Professional $140/month (500 pages) or $1,428/year, Business $2,388/year (12,000 pages, 5 users). Checkout is sheets.lido.app/settings/billing. A 5-person shop with ~500 one-page receipts a month does not fit Standard or Starter. On help, that volume is Professional at $140/month. On the public page there is no middle tier, so the next printed card is Scale. Workflows are a separate plan in help (free tier: 3,000 runs/year). 1:1 video support outside Enterprise is $300/hour. No per-page overages.
