About Receipt Lens
Receipt Lens is a phone receipt log, not the ledger. You snap a paper receipt in the iOS app, or type a line when there is no slip. The extract fills merchant, date, amount, tax, tips, and currency. You correct the misses, drop the slip in a folder, and on Premium you export a report with images as CSV, Excel, or PDF to email. The homepage also claims you can send that report to QuickBooks. Close still happens in QuickBooks Online or Xero if you keep books there. There is no documented publish into those files.
It does not replace QuickBooks Online or Xero. Expensify reimburses a team and can sync coded reports into those books. Neat is a searchable cabinet that can send reviewed items to QuickBooks Online. Dext is the bookkeeper-grade capture tool that publishes into QuickBooks Online or Xero. Smart Receipts is the phone peer with mileage in the same report. ReceiptsAI stops at CSV or Excel with redaction. Receipt Lens's job is a fast snap plus a sales-tax column you can dump into a spreadsheet.
People who stick want a simple camera workflow and a tax column that most cheap scanners miss. They stay on the free tier if a photo plus monthly category totals is enough, or they pay Individual Premium to unlock export and backup. They accept an app last updated in May 2024, no current Play Store listing, and a QuickBooks path that is a marketing line rather than a documented Online connector.

Sharing, export, and support go quiet
Paid folder sharing that never let a second person add (2021). Export or image-open failures with no useful reply (several App Store reviews through version 1.7.10). One reviewer lost the archive after an account mix-up.
The app stopped shipping updates
Last iOS version 1.7.10 on 15 May 2024 is bug-fix only. Dec 2024 reviewer: they asked for search and sort and got no update. Android Play URLs for com.glority.receiptlens and com.glority.receipt 404.

Email the exported report and receipt images. The live file is still QuickBooks Online, Xero, or the spreadsheet. Receipt Lens does not e-file the return or 1099s.

Photograph a paper receipt or enter the line by hand. The extract fills merchant, date, amount, tax, tips, and currency. You still review before you save. App Store reviewers say the tax line is the useful part, and that auto-category still misses (a grocery slip tagged as office supplies).
Folders, categories, and shared piles
Sort business and personal slips into folders with custom names, or share a folder with coworkers or family. iOS 1.6.3 (2020) added multi-user folder sharing and archive. App Store reviewers say paid sharing can fail to let a second person add receipts.
Export CSV, Excel, or PDF (Premium)
Select receipts and generate a report with original images. Premium copy: full reporting and export. Homepage and App Store reviews name CSV, XLS, and PDF, plus email. A 2022 App Store review says export later gated behind the paywall. Free users who only need a monthly category total can stay off Premium.
QuickBooks export (Premium claim)
Homepage: export the report and receipt images to mail and QuickBooks. Yearly/Monthly Premium copy: easy connection with QuickBooks. Pages opened this pass do not say QuickBooks Online vs Desktop, do not show an Intuit marketplace listing, and do not document a Bill or Expense publish. Treat it as an export claim, not a live QBO sync.
Web batch import (enterprise login)
Homepage: import receipt images on the web, get extracts in seconds, and sync with the mobile app. Login page title: enterprise account, bigger screen. A 2022 App Store review called the online view a simple spreadsheet. This is not a replacement ledger.
Individual vs Professional seats
US App Store IAPs (fetched 12 Sep 2026): Individual Premium $9.99/mo or $59.99/yr; Professional Premium $16.99/mo or $99.99/yr. Extra seats: 1 for $29.99, 3 for $74.99, 5 for $109.99, 10 for $149.99. A developer reply treated the $99 plan as an enterprise SKU that lets you collaborate with two other users. Feature differences beyond seats are not on a public card.
Pricing
A solo US owner who wants export pays $59.99 a year or $9.99 a month for Individual Premium. The yearly plan has a 7-day trial; forget to cancel and Apple charges the year. A 5-person shop is not $9.99. Professional is $99.99 a year or $16.99 a month, then extra seats at $29.99 to $149.99 per IAP, and those seat periods are not printed. Free exists with ads. There is no public web price card; numbers are US App Store IAPs fetched 12 Sep 2026.
