Our take
- Best for
- Controllers at mid-market and large companies who need transaction matching, account certification, and journal routing on top of SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or Workday.
- Not ideal if
- An owner closing one QuickBooks Online or Xero file, or a firm that needs an audit engagement platform. Trintech is not the ledger and not a DIY close.
- Standout
- High-volume matching and balance-sheet certification sit on the same close as the journal-entry path, with named ERP connectors rather than a CSV habit.
About Trintech
Trintech is close and reconciliation software for a finance team that has outgrown a spreadsheet checklist. Balances and transactions come over from the ERP. Cadency is the large-company platform: account reconciliation, transaction matching, the close task list, journal-entry routing, intercompany, and an evidence binder auditors can open. Adra is the mid-market suite on the same company. Adra Matcher matches bank, card, point-of-sale, and other files, including one-to-many and many-to-many. Adra Balancer certifies balance-sheet accounts against a variance threshold. Adra Task Manager is the checklist. Adra Journal Entry creates and posts or exports journals back to the ERP. Staff prepare, a reviewer signs off, and unmatched lines sit in an exception queue. You still lock the period in the ERP.
FloQast and Numeric do this same close job for in-house accounting teams. Numeric names QuickBooks Online, Xero, and NetSuite. FloQast names Xero and NetSuite. Trintech is the older record-to-report suite. Its named connectors are SAP, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle E-Business Suite, NetSuite, and Workday. Adra also points at Microsoft 365 and Planful. QuickBooks Online and Xero were not named. NetSuite stays the ledger if that is your system. Trintech does not replace it. DataSnipper stays in Excel for tying a figure to a PDF. It does not match a daily transaction population or run the close calendar.
Teams keep it when the pain is volume: daily cash and card matching, a balance sheet that has to be certified, and a close that spans entities. The match rules, the certification, and the journal path live in one system, and an auditor can be given access to the binder instead of a shared drive of workbooks.
Pricing
No public price and no pricing page. Adra's services agreement says fees are on the order, recurring charges start when the order is signed, and invoices are due in 30 days. A history PDF and customer stories do not list a rate. Do not treat homepage percentages about auto-match or days-to-close as a price or as a result you should expect. A company still on QuickBooks Online or Xero was not named as a connector and should not assume this quote fits.

This is the close layer. You match, certify, and approve journals in Trintech, then lock the period in SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Workday, or whatever ERP you connected. Trintech does not become the books.
Auditors can be given access to the Cadency binder and to Adra reconciliations. Trintech does not prepare a tax return or 1099s.
Features
- Match transactions and clear exceptions
- Cadency standardizes data from the ERP and other sources, auto-matches, and opens an exception for what does not match. Adra Matcher reads bank, card, point-of-sale, merchant, and delivery files in their source layout and supports one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-one, and many-to-many rules, including three-way and four-way matches.
- Certify balance-sheet accounts
- Cadency reconciles accounts brought over from the system of record and notifies the preparer when an item needs attention. Adra Balancer can auto-certify accounts inside a variance threshold you set and keeps the support, comments, and workflow on the account.
- Run the close checklist
- Cadency Close assigns tasks, shows bottlenecks, and ties the checklist to reconciliation and journals. Adra Task Manager is a checklist with owners, status, and separation of duties. The period still locks in the ERP.
- Route journal entries back to the ERP
- Cadency journals use configurable routing, controls, and attachments, with two-way communication to the connected system. Adra Journal Entry standardizes creation and can post or export back to the ERP. A person is still in the approval path.
- Reconcile across entities
- Cadency intercompany compares activity between entities inside the close. The NetSuite, SAP, and Workday connector pages describe one close console across ERP instances and multi-company Workday deployments. This is not a replacement for the ERP's own consolidation module.
- Hand auditors a binder, not a folder of files
- Cadency stores support in an online binder and can give auditors access to the close record. Adra Analytics reports close tasks and reconciliations in Power BI, Excel, or Tableau. Adra's integrations page also says the suite is embedded in Microsoft 365 and connects with Planful for close through planning.

Pick something else instead of Trintech
FloQast
Pick FloQast instead if you want close software with a published map onto NetSuite, Xero, and other ERPs and a lighter sales motion than Cadency.
Numeric
Pick Numeric instead if the close is on QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite and you want a per-user close workspace.
NetSuite
Pick NetSuite instead if the gap is the ledger itself, not a reconciliation layer on top of an ERP you already have.
